So once you understand what the fuck is going on Marisa's combo routing becomes actually interesting but on the other hand she remains a character with 7f unsafe medium confirms and no real reversal.
Broadly speaking anyways I guess Marisa isn't exactly what I thought. In my brain slow character, slow normals, has to sit there and hold everything, hits like a train, etc. But actually she has a good mashable 4 framer to interrupt pressure with, and like her specials do high damage and on a blocked reversal she vaporizes people but we're living in a world where Ken does 2700 damage on a 6 frame starter and Marisa gets 2500 on a 7 frame. Sagat probably does everything better except armor gimmicks.
