No, they do not earn a salary or wage. When the corpo is young and the talents aren't earning enough from merch/ads/supas/members, they may receive a stipend or allowance from the company management. That is not at all the same thing as a salary or wage. The classification of "employee" carries a lot of extra legal responsibilities that do not exist with contractors.
