Kaela confirmed that the dedicated branch budget for ID and EN projects and events is now gone.
>"All of this time right? All this time, like Chromatic Future, HoloID concert right? It's just pure management project. Okay so we have management project and we have individual project and all of this time what we considered as management project gonna go by management budget and what we consider individual project gonna go by individual budget. Since there is no such thing as ID or EN anymore, there's no more budgement anymore for management project, so yeah. So if you ask me that, if HoloID really really wanted to still have a concert, of course we can, but there is no budget anymore for that because maybe we're gonna prioritize our own individual projects. So yeah... But again, propbably there will be more and more and more individual projects from each of your oshi, and this is not only happening on ID or EN, it's everybody guys. It's everybody, so like you know, I don't know guys changes are super scary but now each talent, each individual talent has more time to focus on individual projects somehow, and if they wanted to invite individual talents to their projects, it's good to go. And there is less things we are forced to do because it's like 'we will support what you want to do in what way you want to do' and it's more specific, kind of, yeah. I don't want to say all of this are pros, and all of this are cons. Everything has their own pros and cons"

This is good for Hololive

Sources? none! Meaning?....
>>
>>114768502
>this is not only happening on ID or EN, it's everybody guys. It's everybody
Sounds like it's JP too. So does Cover just not want to pay for concerts and shit anymore? This is some Niji tier jewing.
>>
tl;dr all projects and events have to be suggested to and approved by management now, there are no longer any base budgets for branches that are used by management for default gibs such as concerts.

This opens the possibility for management to just reject everything from EN and ID in favor of more Pekoraslop for the darling rabbit.

Reading Kaela's ESL is cute.
Maybe now that they have less free money for concerts via the branch-esque concerts held, we could see less idol work meaning more time to stream for some of the girls and less stress for others. I'm liking the sound of this merger more and more.
>>
>>114768502
So ID and EN budget is given to more popular holos to do their events. And individual projects are always self funded
>>
>>114768502
>now the girls need to fight each other for opportunities
kek, kurolive
>>
>>114768502
But Nimi can hold her own concert.
>>
From the sounds of it, each talent now has a guaranteed budget to do whatever they want (probably nothing crazy; probably just enough to cover a yearly bday live).
If you want more, then it is based on what you earn. The more you earn, the bigger the budget you have. The bigger the budget, the bigger the projects.
So, if you are a smaller holo talent or don't have any political pull, you are out of luck the gravy train is over.

It doesnt sound great, but why would it? This is consolidation, not a merger whatsoever. Merger sugar coats it and protects from the reality of the situation.

Healthy operations don't restructure and consolidate. They do those things to course correct and get healthy.
>>
>>114768651
if you are a holo who doesnt care about concerts, then the move is a +
if you are a holo who carries a lot of financial muscle and notoriety, then the move is a +
if you are anybody else, the move is a demotion and bad. the smaller girls who want to be idols or have big project dreams will be the ones feeling the pain the most.
>>
>>114768502
the problem is they hired managers who worked for Nijisanji. Most of the og managers are now gone along with A-chan. Grimm, we may as well call them Kurolive soon
>>
this is exactly how they downsized the en homos. no more free outfits, no more branch celebrations. you're given an allowance of $XYZ per financial year and you have to apply for permission from management for them to pay out for your projects. want 3D studio? sorry, its not within your budget and disallowed.
>>
>>114768540
lol Holofags in shambles. Imagine only believing there were pros to the merger.
>>
>>114768812
That's not what she said
>>
>>114768502
This is pretty much the same as before the merge, just switch the local budgets (EN, JP and ID budgets) with the general combined Hololive budget now.
There shouldn't be any significant change unless you believe one branch is such a failure that Holo management is dropping them altogether and no longer gives them as much budget as they needed before the merge
>>
>>114769117
I listened to it. It is what she said.
She even expounds on it by saying
>former id girls we could pool all our budget together and do 1 concert, but why would you want that? that means no other projects for anybody for the year
>>
>>114769158
No, she was speaking specifically about official projects (i.e: their concert).
Personal projects, aka what the girls individually want, have always been funded by talents with Cover only giving them a small budget for it since years ago
>>
>>114769152
Yes, it's in a way similar to before the merge but then it's ID. Can you blame them for not expecting to get much budget from Holo management?
>>
>>114768502
Stfu Kaela
>>
basically each individual talent has to prove they're worth investing in now, management will be lookin at their views, subs, ccv and merch sales, before a weaker girl might get included in a project now its highly unlikely unless its a huge corpo wide thing, the talents will get less merch runs, less budget for projects and less general support unless they're one of the more successful ones
>>
>>114769292
The only way for it to be worse than before the merge is if Holo management has given up on ID and decide not to give them any budget any longer. It's not like their previous management projects didn't have to be greenlit by Holo upper management first to use their local budget on.

>So ID and EN budget is given to more popular holos to do their events.
Yeah, so basically the First Army gets to tap into ID and EN budgets now. Get ready for more JP projects and events while ID and EN fade away.
>>
>>114769739
that's basically what it is. with dozens of dozens of talents vying for the same shared pool, the ones with bigger pull will get first dibs. it's like a pack of wolves, the top dogs eat first and the scraps go to the weaker ones. the ones praising the merger feel they are near the top so they see nothing wrong.
it's just another layer of machinations a talent has to navigate now to get anything done.

Based EN and ID sharts in shambles

>Cover's attempted damage control = yet another failure
Back to the lab, dickheads
>>
>>114769086
So far I've not seen a single negative aspect
>>
It's really really funny how much this board is worrying about ID the last few days.
>>
>>114770003
Even more so when you realize that since the merge, we've already seen IDs receiving several benefits from it while haven't seen any visible negative effect yet
>>
>>114770111
>Even more so when you realize that since the merge, we've already seen IDs receiving several benefits from it
Such as?!
>>
>>114770111
like what? they havent done anything new.
>>
>>114770204
>>114770187
Didn't you see, Risu was allowed to collab with a JP member.
By that, I mean they've been able to forever with no issue.
>>
>>114770204
Some anons already mentioned in another thread, but
>Reopened SocialBuzz accounts. IDs have been asking for this for 2 years to no avail. 2 days after the merge and those are opened again
>Allowed to use their swimsuit in their streams
(I'm not counting any sponsorship or collab yet since anons might argue that those might still happen without the merge and we have no basis to argue about it)
>>
>>114770348
what does using a swimsuit do for any of them longterm?
>>
>>114770364
Sexier contents = more likely to attract fans. Well, Zeta was trying, at least.
>>
>>114768502
Kind of sounds like what Ina said. Damn.
>>
>>114770348
what the fuck is SocialBuzz? Is it some indo social app?
>>
>>114770427
Why did they not allow that for EN and ID in the first place? I never understood why they were so shitty about the sexual stuff, to the point where FWMC are afraid to accidentally show a santa outfit in White Album
>>
>>114768537
This but unironically.
>>
>>114770364
Booba attracts male viewers
>>
>>114770831
In this case, from what I read, Indonesia laws forbid streamers from using swimsuit on-stream. ID channels belong to Cover and are JP channel so I believe that laws at least shouldn't affect IDs living in JP, but then they were called Holo"ID" so their management probably didn't want to risk pissing ID (the country) off
>>
>>114770775
Indo donation platform like StreamLabs. They take 5% cut for donation vs YT 30% cut
>>
>>114770775
An alternate donation platform that ID used back before Superchats were available in Indonesia. While superchats are available now, using an outside donation platform bypasses the 30% Youtube cut, resulting in more money for the talent/Cover.
>>
>>114771127
>we're not paying for extra shit for you anymore
>best we can do is let you use another donosite so that 30% extra can go towards your projects
grim
>>
>>114771127
I doubt anyone who sends superchats is going start using some thirdparty donation service
>>
>>114771242
Big whales might, but yeah the occasional donor/tourists wouldn't even know it exists and just send a SC instead
>>
>Bae said after her concert she wants to focus more on gaming content for awhile
>Ina said the company is looking to branch out of just concerts
Holy shit we might actually get fucking streams again because they won’t get their shit kicked in having to do idol shit if they don’t want to? Great.
>>
>>114772722
>Cover leaning towards more streams
Lmao
>>
>>114772722
>branch out
Get ready for more coca-cola shilling
>>
>>114773221
Pepsi fags seething!
>>
>>114772722
Big cope world for all of them. Being forced to stream is akin to torture for 80% of all Holos.
