The pain and to put it bluntly, eventual death from organ failure that would be cause for a transplant, and then you're still on borrowed time at that point.BUT that's just my disease, something like arthritis or Hashimoto's disease are much less severe compared to the eventual 5 year timeframe I was given before potential organ failure. I started my treatment over 5 years ago and since I'm nowhere close to needing a transplant at this point, I consider it for the most part the right choice. I'm still considering infusions if they become "better" for my treatment and I'm not allergic.

The medication infusions remain in your bloodstream longer, because that's how they're designed to work, and because they're administered directly into your bloodstream they can have worse allergic reactions. But if you don't have reactions, and aren't getting infections, in my opinion they're better.Some people might like the fact that taking a pill is less inconvenient than needing to do the infusions for a few days. For me, trying the infusions, it was like a few hours for a day depending on how fast the "drip" is for the infusion. The allergic reaction sucked, but the IV hurts because it's in your wrist and it'll stay sore for a few days.There are pros and cons to both approaches, but if possible I'd say avoid steroid regimens if those are one of the regimens used. Long-term oral steroids have really shitty side effects.

If her disorder is one that causes joint pain it really depends, but as long as she is managing it with the treatment and isn't practicing while suffering joint pain or inflammation, she should be relatively fine. Probably a good idea to reduce high impact dance movements though IF she has something that causes joint pain and inflammation because that can trigger inflammation and pain. I'd think the more typical "idol dance" styles they do are pretty safe all things considered, but they might need to scale back how often they do dance practice.
