I find that hard to be accurate because of raids and "leaks", and also because the type of people that got hit by the engine.
It makes no sense that there was a coincidence between those who first got hit (the F1 trio: Ohayama, Rena, Are) and the exact type of channels that did long late night streams.

My favourite example of the engine is Finana.

Here is a very recent example, she is still getting engined but the engined is pathetic and weak. Last month on this same date she got engined to 2,511, on a shorter stream even. Why is this? You could argue that management simply didn't care about botting anymore and just gave them the low package but this is something that has been going on since even 2025, some weeks are heavily engined some weeks are weakly engined with no true relation with content, streaming hours or popularity.

To me, it's simple, when you have money, you pay for the bigger bots, when you don't have money, you pay for the smaller bots. We also know since DistrictV that the engine works on a case by case basis, that it does not work the same for everyone (which is also the reason as to why sometimes Holos or Indies get bloated nonsense numbers, it's engines piling up and all leaking at the same time) and to me, the best way to explain it would be that everyone buys what they can buy.
