I think October was when it was apparent Fuwawa needed surgery and they knew that would fuck up a lot of their plans. But this year turned into a disaster with Mococo's thing at the same time. And I don't ever see it getting better only worse. We still don't know exactly what Fuwawa's thing was, for all we know it's something she'll have to live with the rest of her life as well which will limit her energy and output.
