Hello /vt/, the Autumn Babby cup starts in about 3 weeks and we come to ask who you want on the team. Firstly, we will be conducting a short roster suggestion poll which will be used as the options for the proper roster poll alongside the captains of VTL teams. This poll will stay open until the end of Sunday UTC, where we will release the full roster poll shortly after.

The suggestions were open since the start of Friday. The reason for the short window is that we did not want to force Tomato to both work on the stadium and new aesthetics under time crunch. Based on the wiki, there is only 12 days until the Aesthetics deadline and we've been getting complaints about our late export for multiple cups already.

This is a good point. Admittedly, I was too focused on VTL and trying to get my team prepared and further into the tournament. I kept an eye on 4cc dates but didn't realize how little time we might have if we get dropped into the Autumn qualifiers.

I wouldn't say VTL is the reason the team has a string of bad performances the past year. 26 Winter was a new game and we sent out a below average export. 26 Spring we got face punched by a wildcat export, won against the standard team, then lost against the team we copied. That last match, we were read like an open book, even admitted to by one of the /vst/ managers. I made questionable decisions in that match too, but I did the best I could given we were down 3-0 and then 4-0 in a quick span.

For sure. The tactical side of any competition is my number one priority. I do the best I can with testing and preparation while trying to negate the effects of burnout from either of the 2. As the de facto head manager it's my responsibility to make sure every part of /vt/ is up to the quality the fans expect. We as a team are blessed that we have someone like Tomato to work on our aes, and making it high quality as well.
This isn't an excuse to how poorly we've handled polling and other things that are second fiddle to tactics in my mind, just a way to voice out what I think. It does make feel ashamed that our tactical showing has been below average the past year, but without sounding like cope, I think the return to 17 will be a refresher.
