I wonder if they'd be like D&D dragons who could live anywhere depending on the species (greens in forests, brasses in deserts, etc.) or if there'd be a specific type of environment they'd generally favor.
>>115244395The reefs around Loreli are just an idea right now. Around the basalt spires there are remnants of "coral gardens" left behind by sentient sea peoples that might no longer be with us. The gardens eventually expanded into their own miniature reefs which host a variety of sea life. I always liked the idea of merfolk of some kind domedticating coral for construction of homes and accessories.

Unrelated but I had a nap dream where I was GMing a game for Promise. And the mission was to rescue a baby dragon. Mumei's character got to hold the baby. And when they encountered the captors Mumei told the dragon "burn". The dragon set every enemy, and Bae, on fire.

Relevant in this case because in the announcement tweet the irl Pink One never said she'd become a vtuber, just that two of her friends made her a model that she plans to use (the extent of the use not mentioned). I've seen "I'm not really a vtuber [even though i have a live2d model]" happen in the past and I recognize the Pink One irl may take this approach as well.For the record, I do have different endings to the story depending on vtuber status and streaming frequency* so I won't exactly be scrambling to figure out the direction if things don't end up as they may seem right now. Therefore, no need to worry about how that aspect of the world may affect the story.*albeit I haven't figured out how exactly to incorporate the summer streaming droughts I am beyond 99% sure will annually happen into the fifth era lore, guess I'll get to that after I finish figuring out the canals' dimensions.
