I want to start a Vtuber corpo in Poland. Where would you guys look for good candidates?
Psych wards are out of question since I'm banned from them.

Clock women for attention.
>>
>>115658343
Traffic girls from Romania
>>
>>115658343
I mean the vtubers can come from anywhere, they don't have to be from Poland. If you want talents then put out an ad on Twitter or Reddit
>>
>>115658872
I want them to speak in polish. EN scene is pretty much full.
>>
>>115658343
Weebs that work shitty jobs?
>>
Tried posting on X and Discord servers for weebs. Even spend an hour in front of film school, but they kicked me out.

Only got 4 girls who stutter or can't talk for more then 5 minutes.
>>
>>115660542
>film school
What's the idea here?
>>
>>115661231
Handing out leaflets. I was looking for girls who are into voice acting od acting im general, since they have basic abilities that are good for streaming.
>>
>>115660542
Why did they kick you out?
Polish market is unexplored do Id recommend starting just with one talent and test the water. I think many starting agencies make the mistake of biting more than what they can chew
>>
>>115661586
Guard came out and said I'm bothering people. I didn't even talk to anyone, just giving out leaflets. I wasn't even on school ground, but they wanted to call police, so I go.

Wanted to start with two talents.
What's funny is that I have most of things already. Money, equipment. I spend nights writing business plans, contracts and planing everything out. I just don't have VTubers...
>>
>>115661421
The best abilities for streaming is being entertaining and able to get a conversation going even just by yourself and improvising. Acting and voice acting is minimal at the level vtubers do it. Gotta find those comedian or unintentionally funny chicks.
>>
>>115658343
In Japan or SEA (avoid flips) Polish girls are bitchy and not-cute by nature.
>>
>>115661876
have you thought about approaching streamers? Not like I know any female polak streamer but there have to be some small ones with some potential but no direction. Actually I know there are camgirls, maybe just hire a camgirl. Wait... What about that ex-globie girl Alicja de Lontano?
>>
>>115658343
i know nothing of poland but house parties and look for the most conniving manipulative whore there is what i would do
>>
>>115658343
Sam się do psychiatry zgłoś.
>>
>>115663285
Yeah, I'm looking on Twitch. Most are bad and the ones with potential are either under some management or don't want to join agency. I'm not going to stop looking tho...

>>115662656
Improv is also something I was hoping for in film school girls, but I guess it was, a bad idea. You think I should stick to scouting on Discord, or is there any better place to find funny female weebs/nerds/whoever?
>>
>>115663751
That's a joke about Sakana looking for Phase members in psych wards...
>>
I feel like that’s going to be a rough market. Why try to appeal to 40 million poles when you could appeal to several billion with English? I know I know, English market is full, but it’s also full of polish viewers. Why would they switch to polish chuubas? Is there some extra hook there beyond the language itself?

Assuming this is true, you could try checking Vtubie maybe?

there are polish vtubers already
their main problem is that they speak polish, but polish market isnt big enough
just force them to speak english

>>115658343
Hire males with female models, untapped market of babinikus
>>
>>115660148
Make them do a podcast discussing anime.
>>
>>115669146
Why not. I want to do it and I think this has potential. It's untapped market and we have a shot ton of lonely weebs in their 20s that would watch it.
>>
>>115667065
If I go for EN, it will always be 3rd rate agency. Poland have potential and first one that will make it work, will corner the market.
>>
>>115658343
>I want to start a Vtuber corpo in Poland.
twitter crowd will shit all over it based on your president alone
>>
>>115673546
It's not a market at all. At this timeslot you're competing with holoen (Kiara and Nerissa made their appearance at pyrkon, just a reminder), phase, and a bunch of big liggers. That's your unc audience already taken. Poolack kids don't watch vtubers, they stick to their comfort roblox groomers.
What else do you offer other than talents speaking polish (actually a negative factor for some)? Hard mode: don't say play polish games, Kronii was literally doing that this morning.
>>
>>115658343
They hate everything anime there, you won't be successful.

>Starting a vtuber corpos
So you'll be closing down in like July of next year?
>>
it's literally simple. just hire actual anime fans/weebs. who actually watch anime, listen to japanese song, love japanese culture in general. don't hire 2020 covid weebs. IT'S FUCKING SIMPLE BECAUSE THE ANIME/WEEB CULTURE IS OUR CATALYST IN THIS VTUBER COMMUNITY
>>
>>115675626
I know it sounds simple. But I can't find people like this, who have basic speaking abilities...
>>
>>115673441
idk if you're trolling or not but it'd already been tried once and it failed
The girls who stream independently are better off without corpo, they have their orbiters who keep their bills paid (or not) and that's fine
biggest polish vtuber used to have around 300-500 viewers iirc and now she's fucking dead because mental issues/harassment and she probably regrets selling off her model and changing it like 3times by now
It's always better to go global if you want a wide audience but vtuber market is just too saturated right now
Might as well get a voice changer and do it yourself unironically

sadly, weeb anime girls have all grown out of it, and the girls these days are into tiktok and slop
>>
>>115676768
I know there was an attempt and it faild. But they get the wrong idea from the get go. They started as company that hired 4 people for management and started with 4 VTubers. They couldn't bere the cost of it all.

I'm starting small. 1 or 2 VTubers and only me for management. Not as a company, but as JDG (one person business), which will lower cost significantly. I can go for year or two, without any money from the agency. I'm willing to put more to keep it alive.

This failed not because it's a bad idea. It failed because it was badly planned.
>>
>>115677130
>They started as company that hired 4 people for management and started with 4 VTubers. They couldn't bere the cost of it all.
They were up to 11 girls at one point and more were to come.
From my point of view they failed when some girls tried to sabotage the company and kick out the co-founding vtuber because they hated her ass lol
Also I don't believe they were in the black at any moment, maybe barely. The whole thing seemed like a passion project which the founders tried to keep alive. You could see the same people, same viewers rotate in girls' streams and there was little growth. Most of the girls have already reincarnated and you can see the same viewers coming to their streams. There's just not that many people willing to watch vtubers in the Polish community.

You're saying you only want 1-2 vtubers to start with but can you really call that a corpo? You're just looking for a management job at this point.
>>
>>115677611
Oh, I think we are talking about different things. I was reffering to corpo that started last year.

I want to start with 2, build basics and then scale to 4 and make that first gen. Then after a year or so, make second gen.
>>
>>115677694
Yeah I'm talking about Koicorp
I haven't even heard of any corp that started last year so I guess they didn't do a great job advertising but I guess I don't really go out of my way to stay in touch with the community, I just click on whatever new girl I see Twtich recommend me.
That's a case in point tho, if you want to make it profitable you need to reach out to wider audience otherwise you'll be stuck inside that stale Polish vtuber bubble. If someone like me didn't hear about them then how were they supposed to get new viewers?

If I were you I'd start with at least 3, you could call that a corpo at least. Still, I think it's not a good idea.
Why not stream yourself instead?
>>
>>115677902
>Why not stream yourself instead?
I wanted when I was younger (like 10 years ago), but I'm not the "creator" type of person.
But I'm good at planing, managing, working with people and organizing events. That's what I'm doing for last 8 years and that's more my kind of thing.
But I would like to work in a field that I'm passionate about. So for some time now, I'm working on this idea. I would love to help create new VTubers and take care of them from behind the scenes.
Yeah, I know, I'm weirdo and a lunatic.
>>
>>115674429
>What else do you offer
Could he get the Polish government or CDPR to throw some fat cash in his direction maybe?
>>
>>115677694
>>115677130
I want to offer this vod to you as some wisdom. The green woman has a decade of experience working for herself online and is highly successful. She struck out starting her own corpo and the expeirence was highly taxing on her on multiple levels and the venture failed despite the best of intentions. The other girl has longtime management experience in vtubing.

>being passionate about vtubers in 2026
man, good luck.
>Yeah, I know, I'm weirdo and a lunatic.
I wouldn't say that, just don't get into it with any expectations of success or profit.
>>115678852
I think the main perk of Polish vtubers, contrary to what that anon says, is that they actually speak polish.
There's no reason for the government to give a shit about vtubers and CDPR would probably prefer to collab with a bigger, global vtuber.
>>
>>115678852
>>115679094
I could actually get some money from goverment. The funny thing is, I don't need to. I saved more then what I need to start and each month I'm saving a nice amount. My life is boring and I think spending it on my weird dream is better, then wasting it on stupid things I don't even enjoy.

Also I think that Polish speaking VTubers could find a niche, but I'm definitely not expecting this to be 100% success. But maybe it will and save my life a little.
>>
>>115679446
>The funny thing is, I don't need to
If they don't attach shitty strings to it, take that bag king.
>>
>>115661876
I hope you don't take it personally but while there is a chance someone just got a bug up their ass and told the guard to make you leave (maybe the director or something) there's a chance you didn't realize you were doing something in a way that made people uncomfortable. I'm telling you this because it seems like you have good intentions so just keep in mind that sometimes we don't realize that the way we say things or the context people see our actions in make them perceive it in a much different light than we intend. This is specially true in a field like Vtubing where past experience with bad actors has bred a lot of distrust and cautiousness between both sides. People don't know you, and the concept many peeps have of the upstart Vtuber CEO is... not good, because a lot of the ones that got featured in dramachannels stained the reputation of them as a concept specially for femchuubas and their audiences.

This doesn't mean its hopeless don't get me wrong, but it does mean that you might find it convenient to have achievements and references that can vouch for you being #notlikeotherceos and that you are someone the girls can not only feel trust and safety around, but that you have the experience and skills and business accumen to help push their careers forward. You mentioned you have 8 years of organizing in your lap. That's good, specially if its something you can reference in your Vtubing CV if that phrase makes any sense.

I can't speak as to the specifics of the Polish market but I think an advice I might give is that parallel to you looking for the talents you can also try to reach out and network with other Vtubing managers or some of those channels that give Vtubing advice. Approach with humility and honesty, and ime people are really nice and open when you want to ask questions and are polite about it. Of course, don't take it personal if they say they're busy or don't reply. That's just the nature of business. Because I studied music and do video editing I reached to mixers and editors and a couple times volunteered to help them out for free as a sort of apprenticeship deal, that is something that you might want to consider in the future.

Two things that also come to mind: Even if you won't be streaming yourself please keep in mind that your reputation MATTERS. A lot. Again, people don't know you, and its hard to trust someone people don't know anything about. As you go knowing more people on the backend of Vtubing (Let's say Denji -the creator of Vtube Studio- for example) that becomes less of an issue. Be polite and professional with people, don't be shady, don't let yourself fall into situations that might be prone to misunderstandings, etc. Just to take the CEOs of SVA and PC, people know who they are and even if they might think Sakana is kind of an asshole no one doubts his profesionalism and capacity to run the organization.

Second thing: Keep receipts of convos and protect yourself from even the possibility of slander or scandal. That doesn't mean that you should be afraid of talking to anyone, just remember that (specially in a dockey-prone scene like indie or small Vtubing) people are NOT your friends and trusting someone can come at a high price specially because in a fight between you and one of the girls, people are far more likely to favor the talent. You don't need to approach this with fear but you do need to approach with attention and discretion. Also also, I assume that you would also be the personal manesan of the girl at least at the start right? In that case having tact and empathy towards them and their feelings is an important ability to have even if you believe they're complaining about bullshit. Remember that they're ladies, things don't always feel the same as they do for you or for me. And things feel far more vulnerable when you are in the stagelights. I think you have a good heart man so while the road is not clear and success is not guaranteed, I am sure you will be able to get somewhere if you approach things with willingness to learn and determination to do right by others. Good luck.

>>115658343
Isn't Poland like one of the last 3 white countries left in the world? And like the only 1st world country in the world still actively defending its border against the 3rd world mass invasion.
You should only hire white girls.
>>
Oh btw if I were I'd try to start small maybe like managing one girl for free (like you tell her that it's to build experience and also help her on the way) and then you see if you can expand towards a small Vtuber group and then see if things can grow into a corpo. Going from 0 to a small corpo might be too much a leap of faith but that's just imo
>>
>>115658343
find 5 whores that make less than $500 on fansly and create a new whore corpo
>>
>>115660542
>Even spend an hour in front of film school
>Handing out leaflets
I'm sorry man but I have to laugh because this is the sketchiest recruitment story for a vtuber corpo I have ever heard if you got any fish to bite.
