I mean.. ya there are benefits and negatives, for girls is a bit different bc of makeup. but you are not required to have makeup but if I was guessing I would say most do take time to put foundation and stuff and that takes time to prepare ig. for guys I just find its easier to be fleshtuber.
me personally I decided to be a vtuber bc I work and meet with a lot of ppl that i rather not know about my hobbies, I like that you can be anon so its always weird to me when vtubers face reveal, if that was always the "goal" imo I would just start and stay fleshtuber
