It started as a girl's group that was very successful doing hololive-but-edgier content. They had a stellar group with stellar chemistry and dynamics.The males debuting went viral with Kpopstans. But this audience was extremely different and didn't mesh at all with the old audience. Some separation was required, but with the weak management they had, it was impossible. The males kept invading the girl's streams, the girl's kept launching ships with the males for popularity. The end result was both audiences being dissatisfied with the product. It's like mixing motor oil with your orange juice. Now you have something you can't drink, or put in your car, it's a useless thing with no purpose. The content of the girls became much more lewd, crass, and degenerate, and eroded their core fanbase. This became obvious once the Kpopstans left and, and then it was a rush to the exits. The boys were sabotaged by Ethyria shipping themselves with them, creating NTR drama and behind the scenes relationship fallouts. The audience got angry and threw tomatoes until they bled. Everyone could see the problems, but nobody wanted to acknowledge it because they wanted to own the incels, and prove mixed gender can work. They proved exactly the opposite. They say pride cometh before the fall. The arrogance they had was on full display in the discord leak, they believed they were untouchable. With the absent management, Elira's friends seized control of branch and began giving favorable treatment, and excluding people they disliked like women always do. People were bullied into leaving, google docs were dropped, and now the branch is nothing but a pile of ashes. Should have gotten rid of Ethyria, that's all I will say.

>>115689496Honestly, it boils down to the culture/gender war. Women/trannies wanted vtubing to appeal to them and once they got their foot in with nijiEN they came out arms swinging. First to purge their own corpo of "evil chud incels" (anyone that was just a straight male) and then to try to affect and change the culture of the wider vtuber scene. The livers themselves were in on this and active participants. So much hate in both management and talents eventually started backfiring in unexpected ways and exposing everyone involved in the branch as a bad person.
