It's not a big secret that a fair share of vtubers out there deal with some sort of mental illnesses and that vtubing in itself attracts such people as well. But where would you draw the line regarding depression? Can it pass as just another character trait as long you don't make it the core of your existence or is it inherently a burden for viewers?

Asking because technically I have the means to get into vtubing with no problem, but my mental state is not great at all. I am not a suicidal doomer, but overall pretty aloof/avoidant, low energy and constantly tired and well...depressed. Yapping is no big deal for me, but certainly do not pass as a genki sunshine. Would it still be worth to give it a shot?

if you make a design with thigh highs and don't show any thigh you should be shot (kindly). i have a few corrections that I think will make it more appealing

you are wasting the fishnets by making your thigh highs too high, there is also way too much green in your design that it makes it kind of exhausting to look at, so i changed the color of the socks and added it to the shorts to draw viewers more towards the top half of you since the colors are brighter and that's what will mostly be seen anyway. i also I think this pallete has more scene-y raver-y vibe that works well with your design. i also slimmed down your shorts because they break the leading lines from your body to the socks and gives you a bit of a weird silhouette, especially since this clothing style is usually about more form fitting clothing. i have also given you a free bunny motif to go off of for a brand, plus tried to incorporate the coding theme. i also tried to keep it very simple since i know you're not proficient in vroid.

My discord has become almost silent yet I still open other discords to compare myself haha what a crazy person I am. I can feel my community fading away and it all just hurts so bad. The few who were there and so talkative have become so infrequent or absent now. I miss them. I'm sorry I was never good enough and that I made some of my more depressive feelings visible. Who wants to interact with a hopeless sod. I made it so I can't see my numbers anymore but I know when people leave stream just by seeing chat activity. I feel like a tumbleweed or ghost or like a snail shell without the snail. Very hollow and lacking. I already tried leaving this reality but I'm too scared of the pain. It will only worsen by the end of the year when I need to beg my parents to help me with housing because of my neetdom despite my efforts to keep my distance and be independent. How do EU based indie vtubers deal with all the legal bullshit mandated by EU laws and in some cases by local national laws as well? I don't even mean the taxation itself, but more the danger of doxing yourself due to general business requirements. Germany in particular is pretty fucked as you are legally required to at least show your full clear name in every profile, even when using a postal management service (not an actual postbox, those are not legal) to hide your home address.

Are there any legal loopholes that are used by indies based in countries that are part of the European Union (outside of Germany) to hide their clear name? I double checked the legal basis for the Netherlands, well as far as I could with google AI, as a different reference country and while you are not required to immediately show your clear name, it will become an issue by the time you have to register a business for taxation purposes as the register will show the name of the business owner. And at least legally you are supposed to show the respective company code of your business entry. I should add though I'm aware there is no such thing as being 100% anonymous due to things like how payment processing works (e.g. PayPal), but where it's possible I want to keep my personal foot print as low as I can.

Good point. Showing some emotional vulnerabilities will drawn in these folks for sure, but based on my professional experience I have no issue drawing boundaries and tardwrangle where it's needed. Going for a generally more relaxing low energy spin as a cover up is a good idea though!

Alright, that's fair. Been dragging myself through my wageslave job for years, and no one ever really cared. At best I was talked to why I am in a bad mood, but nothing else. At one point I just started to focus on functioning in the system in order to mask what is hidden below.
