Do vtubers have a concrete plan to deal with the industry-wide decline in viewership?
>>
>>116062404
Jump ship and go VA. 15 minutes of fame is a real thing. Some people get more time than others. Fame is something you always have to keep up or else you disappear.
>>
Imagine thinking woman plan ahead lmao. They just do what makes them feel good in the moment, consequences be damned
>>
Do jp chuubas also feel the decline or is it mostly confined to EN ?
>>
>>116063211
I notice in Japan VA's and idols usually bow out and go for family for a about 10 years or so and may make a return later on in supporting roles. But the thing is they leave on good terms. I dunno how vtubing works in Japan yet since it's all new.
>>
they're women, they can just marry their richest simp
>>
>>116062404
They’ll be fiiiiine all the chuubas you niggers shitpost about on this board are big enough to survive both in the corpo and indie sphere. Will their earnings suffer? Of course, but they all have large enough fanbases to ensure they can continue in the space without having to resort to getting a “real” job.
>>
>>116062474
VAI. get it? because AI
>>
>>116062404
not even holos think that far ahead
>>
>>116063383
>>116063374
Well that's when you get into paypig and simp territory. Chuubers having to do GFE stuff to get weird guys to fund them. Sponsors are like that too but they always cut pay and move on to younger models.
>>
>>116062404
realistically i, a parsocial fuck, could support the livelihoods of two menhera 2 views single-handedly, the problem is not a single one of these bitches want to commit to the act, they all get all doe eyed with the first pretty boy or broke artfag, or male chubba that crosses their path or a therapist talks them out of it
men are painfully easy but NONE of them are wiling to do what needs to be done and toe the line, they all have to have their cake and eat it
so they have nobody but themselves to blame
>>
>>116064197
Sounds like you should actually deal with your issues instead of making it somebody else's problem.
>>
>>116064197

i have zero issues, i am a responsible and moral human being with my shit together
but im like the fucking rock from king Arthur out here trying to find the single vtuber not devoid of integrity and so far im convinced she just doesn't exist
>>
>>116064442
I believe you 0%.
But I believe you believe you 100%.
And thats fucked up.
>>
>>116064442
I think tou will never reproduce and should just kys to end your pointless existance
>>
>>116064654
how many people do you know in your life are terrible parents? how terrible were your parents for you to grow up and post on 4chan at midnight on a friday night? and this is somehow a benchmark you have for your fellow man?
you aren't better than me, you are simply afraid

The plan seems to be to accept it and contract with it. At the top is where this is most evident, for example Hololive abandoning their male and English talent instead of bolstering them. The smaller corpos have either already closed up or never spent ambitiously to begin with, like Phase, which (for the most part) always spent conservatively and within their means, so they don't seem to need to plan around the winter of the industry. Indies don't have or need a plan because of the ease with which they can transition to typical streamers given that they are, objectively, already typical streamers.
>>
>>116064442
while you're a unicorn and thus border on subhuman, i really respect that you know what you want and that within the vtuber niche that your idealized conception of a vtuber may not exist but *should*.
on that last point, i actually agree with you. i agree because, while i'm not worried about women who stream with men because i'm not the intellectual equivalent of foamy pond scum, i do want my entertainment to leave baggage at the door and just entertain their audience without lectures or performative politics, and it's a similarly difficult entertainer to find.
like you i know what i want, i know it CAN exist and i have reasons i believe to be good as to why it SHOULD exist.
good luck, anon, hopefully you find her.
>>
>>116065310
dont think im asking for a lot here to have like 1 single rushia in this industry, but real, and not a fake malicious bitch, is that really too much to ask for after all these years? 8.3 billion people on planet earth and there isn't even one single vtuber that can rise to the occasion?

Is there really a decline and/or how much of one are we talking here? I dont really watch vtubers anymore but every once in a while I check on how channels are doing and haven't really noticed much of a difference number-wise for english speakers. I can tell that theyre not really growing anymore but haven't really noticed any obvious viewership decline. Hell, v4mirai is still going for fuck's sake
>>
>>116062404
It's just stabilizing, top performers will still do well, lower-mid tier chuubas will feel it the most and have to balance their finances.
>>
>>116064442
Wait for Nene Amano to return. She is the one promised to you in the tales.
>>
>>116065310
>while you're a unicorn and thus border on subhuman
The word has lost all meaning at this point since you tourists are too retarded to look up any slang used in vtuber stuff...
>>
>>116067845
your argument is someone using unicorn correctly means they don't use vt and/or 4chan?
do you dress yourself, oblivious unicorn?
>>
>>116066616
>I dont really watch vtubers anymore
You and a bunch of other people, that's kind of the issue.
Every EN generation has struggled to hit the highs of the previous one.
>>
The plan seems to be to alienate at least half the fans to smugly own them for a day or two until they leave
>>
>>116067845
The word was used correctly. You will never meet your unrequited fixation and it's extremely embarrassing how mad it makes you.
>>
>>116068870
There's definitely something to be said for the novelty having worn off, but I still see these channels getting 30k-150k+ views. Any recommendations for where should I be looking to observe a noticeable viewership drop off? Genuinely curious because I thought those were normal numbers for successful english speaking vtubers...
>>
>>116069922
>actually asking for evidence of OP's claims
Sorry sir we don't do that here it's all vibes
>>
>>116068870
there are two kinds of youtuber.
There is fake tryhard, and there is 'oh, I think I just walked into somebody's normal student apartment' but they're having a conversation with a mask on.

There's nothing else besides I can feel your stress through the screen and just stream normally, there's no point having an avatar.

What happened to the unique magic of the medium?
>>
>>116071198
underrated post
>>
>>116064442
Then where were you when Nene Amano was streaming? Just wait for her return then
>>
>>116065722
You give them money and that gives them freedom which in turn makes them less beholden to you. The more people there are watching who are like you, the quicker they make it to that freedom.
>>
>>116069922
>Viewership drops.
>SC and membership drops.
>Company offers suppliment of loss of income from memberships and SC by giving more chances to sell image
>Stream time gets cut down
>Viewership drops.
>Repeat cycle
The 2-views are getting slowly bumped off, the big dogs of the EN side are going more and more for sponsorships and money outside of actual entertainment, and sooner or later they will be the ultimate walking billboard.

Vtubing is bullshit lmao. You'd be like a drinking buddy or a romance option at worst in person. Eventually unicorns will be a fiction and not a person imo. It's like a type of improv that only makes sense to so many people and it's just going to become silly bullshit in time. Imagining the horror of fuwawa and mococo just being a generally good influence on each other LMAO.
>>
>>116071198
>What happened to the unique magic of the medium?
You continued watching Hololive's descent into corposlop. Watch cute youtube indies (not twitch whores).
>>
>>116062404
its so sad women are so bad with money they wont even last 10 years after making millions from vtubing. imagine being as dumb as a nigger athelete with brain damage
>>
>>116062404
Fansly
>>
>>116062404
>Do vtubers have a concrete plan to deal with the industry-wide decline in viewership?
Those who rely on it tend to not have an alternative plan. Those who don't make their money elsewhere. Could be a normal dayjob, a different creative profession or just straight up porn.
>>
>>116062404
yeah, it's called lore dropping
>>
>>116075263
Basically. I notice the big vtubers both corpo and indie made more money than God and still somehow ended up having to work more for declining money. They can't really get out of the game once they are in.
>>
>>116063374
They will never do that because they believe everyone of their simps is beneath them, even those with way more cash than them.
>>
>>116064442
If you really had zero issues then you would be married with a nice family by now, but you aren't and instead you're trying to take your shot at women that are mostly always in relationships or even worse married, and women notice a lot of stuff men never do so maybe you got red flags in your behavior that you will most likely never notice until one of them points it out for you.
>>
>>116062404
No
>>
>>116083227
story checks out
>>
>>116063374
that's how Azki remained in business and kept producing her slop in hololive.
>>
The smart ones probably have financial advisors. A lot of the big flesh streamers do.
>>
>>116063374
A lot of this chicks arent exactly lookers irl
>>
>>116062404
Not by and large, but the business model still makes some sense even if in decline so most streamers that weren't scrapping by and trying to get things over the line to make it full time are okay even if they are making less. I do believe though that monetization and video platforms will do something seismic given how tech is being disrupted right now by the going ons and it will be a lot harder to sustain yourself on the platforms alone.
>>116083780
A bunch of Vtubers don't make enough to even make that threshold.
>>
>>116080769
>Fanzone
I keep hearing it and I believe many streamers see their fans as nothing more than fans. Streamers from the 2010's really made it known they don't care about their fans. Vtubers in the 2020's dropped hints and now I see it. I guess some of us see it sooner than others do.
>>
>>116074996
>Watch cute youtube indies (not twitch whores).
Anon, all indies are basically twitch whores even if they're not on twitch
>>
>>116083835
smv isn't just looks
>>
>>116085100
Not really. YT indies are cute girls who play games and make idol content, Twitch whores have their breast jiggle sliders as max, talk about their boyfriends, and do streams showing 90% of their flesh body
>>
>>116085467
it is a much greater percentage of the total for women due to evolutionary pressures.
>>
>>116085835
you are literally delusional or watch nothing more than pillow (who spent so much time being groomed by her discord inner circle that she turned into a childtuber to run away from the gfe hell)
>>
>>116083835
do you really think those rich simps care if their oshii is ugly irl
zenya's still worship her even after she turned into a hog, they dont care, they are desperate, any woman agreeing to marry them is a dream come true for them
>>
>>116062404
The 1% don't care, they have enough fans. I'm talking Hololive, Phase, Niji, VSPO, etc. It's the small indies in 2-view hell the ones who may have an issue establishing a paying fanbase.
>>
>>116087144
Nah, there's also Essie, Lazuli, Raki, (RIP Nene)
>>
>>116088127
essie isnt a whore (derogatory) bit she aint pure either, besides she dual streams on twitch.lazuli is pure, ill give you that, idk raki and nene was a asmr ultra whore
so, you're kind of delusional saying "muh youtube girls are pure"
>>
>>116088127
>that list
Maybe it doesn't count if some of those don't do it anymore, I guess
>>
I don't worry about it and if I cannot pay my bills anymore I'll just kill myself.
>>
>>116085835
Many YT vtubers got their start in Twitch. Some even nuked their channels when they went corpo. Only a small handful have those Twitch vods saved.
>>
>>116089537
why don't you go see someone like >>116064197 instead
>>
?
