i turned 25 in the last couple months and was saddled with the comprehension of what wasted years feel like, or maybe more accurately that what i thought was inevitable probably wasn't. it's not terribly interesting so i will not take too much space up

this one reminds me of times where my dad would drag me around places reeeeeaaally far away from our house to do something outdoorsy. i never wanted to go, and we never ended up doing anything for long. so the trip there was 3 hours for only a half hour of fishing or making idle chat with the guy who sold nightcrawlers by the docks. making pit stops with him was of some fondness to me
