But people like Alex Jones were a major driving force in people waking up to global government corruption. Elites are forced to take into account this distrusting population (i.e. they do take them seriously)
One of the ways they dealt with this movement is by promoting an alternative populist (Donald Trump) then hijacking the movement, which has turned all that momentum that people like Alex Jones created into more power to the elites.
