I respect the idea, but stuff like this and colour adjusting and image changing drives me around the bend because they know they wouldn't get the funding if people doing see a pretty picture even if it's essentially fake, or "hear a planet" when what we're hearing is random radio noise. Pictures of nebulae like the famous horsehead if you had a magic telescope that could give you the same exact resolution from earth would just look like bright spots in a muddy monochrome cloud or just plain darkness. Even earth ends up getting the blues and greens oversaturated as shit. But then again everyone mocked the shit out of the significant achievement of getting an image of the black hole because it was like at 2.4p so maybe humans are retarded and it has to be this way to get people interested. Just drives me nuts though.
