decided to buy it this year out of curiosity/boredom and yep, the bugs are still there. people walking about pissing constantly, npcs and even neo spawning in just below the floor, all sorts of dumb shit. it's funny and i like that.

but the game itself is a huge shame.
the graphics are absolutely gorgeous on max settings.
that's the only thing it's got going for it.
everything else is wasted potential, bad design, no clear direction.
the sound design is awful - very grating.
the inventory ui is shit. the levelling/perks system is meaningless - you can do the main story to completion without giving a shit about any stats.
sidequests? what are those? they're there but there's no incentive to do them and you aren't given any push towards doing them either.

too many chefs spoiled the sauce on this one, they were all trying to do too much with no cohesive direction.
such a shame.

I've got pet emus. Theyre hand raised so theyre very nice and wouldn't ever hurt me on purpose, but I have gotten scratched down the leg by one once while trying to walk him to his pen. Right through my jeans and had a big cut down my left leg. Thankfully the cut wasn't deep and healed up just fine although there's still a bit of a scar. Honestly emus aren't even that big compared to an ostrich. I can pretty easily muscle an emu but yeah an ostrich would 100% take off with me if i tried to stop them not to mention one scratching me. Still be pretty cool to have one as a pet though. I've actually always wanted a pet casowary. I've also got one emu who was born with slightly splayed legs. Well one week she must have sprung her legs and she just couldn't get up out of her pen so I just decided to pick her up. That seemed to work for her because ever since she's let me pick her up even after she could walk again. If i try to pick up any of my other emus they kick the fuck out of me.
