Soundcloud, primarily. Pretty much every artist has their own "core" tag which they use, but they all tag under the hyperflip, dariacore, and mashcore tags.

I've noticed that these artists tend to be younger and LARP certain series pretty hard, will dedicate their whole page to said series or game, and they always have these tight follower circles with others who make similar music, so when you find an artist you like it will be easier to find more.
My heuristic is that when I like a song I visit the artist's page and see if they have more songs, and if I like more than one, I follow them. been working for years.

Yeah you're right too. To be honest hyperflip sorta rubs me the wrong way for some reason. A Japanese breakcore label I like (Lostfrog) has recently been putting only hyperflip. I've listening to a lot of it and it just seems very samey to me. Maybe I have yet to come across the good stuff.
