The tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured no end of contempt. We have endured no end of ridicule from the arrogant, of contempt from the proud
it is hidden from your eyes
Jesus wouldn't want you reposting this stupid shit over and overkill yourself
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me
Do not let your hearts be troubled

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the descendants of Abraham? So am I.
Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day.

Sorry to be a beggar but if you could pray for me I'd appreciate it.
I am human. In the beginning, there is inner chaos, pulling us away from God.God with us, cantrip spells.Instinctual Schizo-forensics at the source, drove a peaceful ruler to annihilation and meaningless dancing. Such a sad state of being. Not the kind of fruit I want to eat.Meditate on this:To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”What objective reality does this reveal? How does my finite mind structure or limit my understanding of this truth? What a priori assumptions or biases do I bring?I pray for clear thinking, intellectual honesty, a love of truth, and the grace to let reason lead us toward God rather than away from Him.Show me my limits, direct my intellect dynamically toward God, and encourage the truth I see to actualize through me.In the morning Lord, help me conform my mind to reality while humbly recognizing my cognitive filters. And at night, as I lay down to rest, show me Where did I treat opinions as absolute? Where did I fail to seek objective good?I will ground my decisions in objective natural law and virtues.I will ask, what is the purpose of this action? Does it fulfill my nature as a rational creature oriented toward God?I will actualize, knowing that my actions are a covenant of what I will to become a universal law. I will honor personal autonomy and universal respect.Seek objective good.Acknowledge mental categories and biases.Universalize and reconcile with Jesus Christ.
Even when thoughts get wild and make us want to do silly or angry things that hurt ourselves or others, we choose not to grow that kind of fruit.Jesus tells us:“If you hold on to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Let’s ask ourselves:What true thing is Jesus showing us here? How does our own thinking sometimes make it harder to see clearly?Lord Jesus, help us think clearly and love the truth.Guide our minds and hearts toward You.Show us what we don’t yet understand.Turn what we learn into good actions. In the morning: Help us see things as they really are, even when our brains see them a little differently. At night: Show us when we acted like our opinion was the only one, or when we didn’t choose what is right and good.Help us make choices that are fair and kind.Help us ask: “Does this help me become the person God made me to be?”Help us treat others with the respect we want for ourselves. And most of all, help us follow Jesus in everything we think, say, and do.Jesus, You are the Truth who sets us free.Make us Your faithful friends and followers.Amen
Sometimes we want to do wrong things. But God is with us, and Jesus is close.Jesus says: “Hold on to my teaching. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Jesus, help us love the truth.Help our hearts turn toward You.Help us do good things. In the morning: Help us see what is really true.At night: Show us when we were unkind or unfair.Help us be kind to others.Help us become who You made us to be.Help us follow Jesus every day.Jesus, You are the Truth. Set us free.
Sometimes we want to do bad things. But God is with us. Jesus is close.Jesus, help us be good.Help us be kind.In the morning: Help us see what is true.At night: Help us be sorry when we are not kind.Jesus loves us.Jesus helps us.This is truth.
Jesus with us.Jesus help. Be good.Be kind. Morning: see true.Night: say sorry. Jesus loves us.Jesus helps us."Truth"
