Took a walk, tried to pray, and I feel like my prayers are far more rushed and shallow than they used to be. I don't really know, because it was always something that felt like a small struggle for me. Maybe I look at it in a confused way, but I don't feel stillness. I have treated prayer as something perhaps meaningless for a while, I may have bastardized it. In general I feel in a rush, when I try to find stillness, I don't feel well.

I have for a long time now, felt no yearning for life. I often want to die. My biggest issue with calvinism is the issue of predestination. The idea in which you are destined before even your birth, to either go to heaven or hell, this paints God as an evil tyrant which goes completely against scripture.

Even their founder, Calvin himself, when confronted with this, just simply said "maybe God has the answers" because he couldn't defend it either.
