Diversity is important to safeguard us against this outcome, and I'm not just talking about genetic diversity. If everybody is being vaccinated because it's mandated, then that population is by very strict definition homogeneous. This creates a single point of failure. That's dangerous. We need significant portions of humanity to remain free from medical experimentation because we can't accurately predict the dangers we'll be facing in the future.
