Made some webms of the 1986 Mario anime fandub and wasn't sure where to put 'em because it's not technically video game content, and the anime thread is terminally triggered by dubs.They rebuilt the OST from the ground up and it sounds exactly like an 80s localization. Extremely comfy shit if you're old enough to remember buying overpriced dubs on VHS from Suncoast Video.
Really it's all about the music. This shit's been stuck in my head for weeks.

It would have been real easy for them to go the Ghost Stories/gag dub route and try to make every line into some kind of joke or Mario meme, but I'm glad they resisted the temptation.
