I want to see it all, friends. If you have some old shit that will make me feel something after a few beers, go ahead and post it. Commercials, Internet history, compilations of the good ol' days, and everything in between.
>>6243914Nostalgia is a dangerous thing if you delve too much into it.
>>6243920have you got any of the groovies with the little wind-up toys?

>>6243914I still don't feel nostalgia and 30 is bearing down on me. I'm not jealous, I just don't understand why that bone grew in everyone I knew, and not me. I don't feel anything towards these vids; sure, I remember plenty of it, but that's where the feeling stops. It existed, and may or may not now.
>>6247026>I still don't feel nostalgia and 30 is bearing down on me.oh nooo not 30. lol. you only just started m8.i get what you're saiyajin but surely if you find an old toy you used to love or some drawings you made or whatever in your parents attic (if they were cool and kept them) you think "oh cool, i remember this, that stuff was fun" and you can reminisce a bit.it only gets lame and fake and gay if you obsess over that stuff and "want to go back" to "simpler" times or whatever retarded crap.the past is the past, let it go, put childish things behind you.but it's still fun to think about when your memory gets jogged. it's like a memory portal that reminds you of who you were at that point in time, surely you see the amusement in that?videos though, well it's usually a mix of "haha oh yeah that was funny" or "oh god that was shit/i can't believe i used to like that" or etc.old stuff you actually made as a kid/teen/20's and forgot about is way waaay more interesting and emotionally involving for better or worse but again, you don't dwell on it, you just smile or laugh or get pissed off or whatever. it's fun.
>>6247060The eternal cock measuring of existence, always a fun one xD I don't have those things. At 17, I finished basic training and the few things I ever saw again were a few articles of clothes. Haven't spoken to my parents, besides getting the paperwork for enlistment signed, in about 15 years. I understand what you're saying, my couple friends say the same thing, and that there is a healthy line. I feel like I get right to the threshold between remembering when some things or generation/era/"vibe" came before, and actually feeling a sense of immersion in the context of being in that moment. I appreciate hearing people describe their experience with it, and I do keep some thought in mind that I'll figure it out eventually.
