Videos that give you the exact opposite feeling of AI slopThat soulful human charm that AI is just not capable of replicating
>>6253257It may be authentic but I really dont like this folksy hyperspeed mandolin shit
for me this is performers of all kinds, the live aspect makes it so much more impressive. It's this empathetic feeling of the fear of going in front of an audience under the spotlight and then overriding that with soul and talent
for me its shit like this
AI could never
>>6253257I like this video always make me smile>>6253370luckily they lost
>>6253257RIP lad
this one every fucking time, i just dont get tired of it
makes me feel nostalgic to a place ive never experienced and at the same time glad to not be there because you just know that life is hard
>>6253268there is no reason why these guys couldnt be bts but black
>>6253268I love acapella. Instruments are cool and all but I often wonder why we even need them. In some sense perhaps instruments were the first brick in the road to AI slop.
>>6253762>I love acapella
>>6253619Not seen this in years, fucking brilliant.
>>6253759This is the only one of these group singing videos I've ever liked. It really feels like part of their culture and not performative
>>6253257This dude is dead, IIRC
>>6253374Song name?
>>6253907music is meant to be a social thing, it only became performative later. Shanties like this were work songs, keeping time as a team of sailors performed a grueling task. ("take a turn around the capstan / heave a pawl")Fond memories of being in a Morris dance troupe, not for the dancing itself but for going out to the pub after and teaching each other drinking songs.
>>6253979Shin Takarajima by Sakanaction. Absolute banger, so is Tabun, Kaze.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIlZCmETvsYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lx0vLTH_yg
>>6253370>colorized by AI
>>6254160>video editing software didnt exist before AIin 20 years get alpha will think all pixar movies were made by AI
>>6254183Colorization software used neural networks before "AI" became a buzzword.
>>6253762I feel the exact opposite. The world needs both types I suppose.
>>6254197Yes and? You know AI isn't actual AI but don't know anything about neural networks beyond the term itself
>>6254197Not the guy you replied to btw
>>6254215>Yes and?Meaning that AI was doing AI things before 2022.
>>6254209I couldn't give even a single shit about golf, but this is still one of the most brutal moggings I've seen to this day.
>>6253619You made my day and I love you.
>>6253635
>>6253257RIP :(
>>6253257Good thread, even if not a big thread. Praying we can make this one happen more often.
>>6253257AI
>>6254261Literally witcher 3 soundtrack
>>6253635>glad to not be there because you just know that life is hardIt's just man made hell. India and Russia, and the cancer of corruption these shitholes export.
>>6254410fuck, what is the name of this song? i swear there was a week this took over all boards and i used to have it saved from back then
>>6254461https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV_3Dpw-BRYfound it by way of looking up the Drive soundtrack
>>6254468tyvm anon
>>6253264agreed. just reminds me of dirty gypsies and the pacific northwest
>>6253821wtf I hate acapella now
>>6254412holy shit good post
>>6253907There's a folk music festival in my city and last year they have a sea shanty guy come in one of the days. The room is was fucking packed and it was surprisingly easy for all the amateur singers in the room to come along with the leader. We got an absolutely thundering sound going for a lot of them. There's some harmonization done by the chorus holding the first sound of some lines in this video that we didn't do in the room so I think some of the people in it have some experience, but it took zero prep for our group to do something similar.
half of that shit is just playing instruments
>>6254543its all 'bout that dirt poor appalacky culture
>>6253374at least we're not speaking german!>goes outside>durka durka hadij mohammed durka baka walla waka
>>6253635Which song is this? Got sauce?
>>6255282makes me kek every time
>>6253762Ok mudslime. Go fuck a goat while you wait for your "wife" to turn 6.
>>6255146Less money in the budget for infrastructure, like roads and public schools. This leads to geographically isolated areas in the mountainous regions, where Skeeter and his cousin married and had a litter of kids a few generations in a row, similar to line-breeding that led to pugs and putbulls. Sometimes, people win the genetic lottery and they end up with favorable traits. More commonly for the ones who don't end up clearly deformed, they end up with ADHD that goes untreated because the schools can't afford to get the poverty-stricken families the help they need to function in modern society. And then you find a small percentage of them with a staggering array of talents and skills, which could include music. The vast majority of them self-medicating with amphetamines cooked up in Cousin Billy's backyard lab.Pomp and circumstance are the only things separating us from them.

>>6255488Man I love Vulfpeck
>>6253257>>6253604>>6253965>>6254266This guy had a drug problem, no joke. The song about cold beer was true to his soul, as an alcoholic. But the sudden fame from this video was overwhelming to a simple Trailer-Park-Boys man like him and he soon died of a drug overdose (very likely fentanyl). Fuck fentanyl, he'd probably still be alive if it was heroin. He recorded a studio version of this song, but it sounds like shit to me. He's slurring his words and sounds like he doesn't care because he's likely high on fent. I'd listen to OP's cell phone video version in my car if it was on spotify, because IMO it's one of the most soulful videos I've ever seen. He's so fucking good, literally awesome, just showing the song to his friends in his backyard outside his dad's trailer on the lake. And yeah I usually dont listen to this kind of music either
>>6255148someone's a little salty and has to make up thing that aren't true

>>6253907>feels like part of their culture and not performativeIt is. This is a sea shanty and they are naval community people. In UK we have naval and army clubs for ex servicemen.
>>6254412He channeled his ancestry
>>6254420Are my eyes deceiving me, or did that bike crash leave one person unconscious/dead on the road?
>>6253762I love choral music. My singing voice sucks, and my instrument gives me the ability to sound the way I want to sound in my head.
>>6253257
>>6253257Kino and soul. The way that the song keeps going on and on is captivating. Thanks for making me smile on a depressing day, OP.
>>6254159Thanks man
>>6257195I love how it sounds like he's singing about his love for a woman and then after a minute you realize he's actually a sad alcoholic and it's about his (destructive) love for beer
>>6256801The problem here is she's an infloooencer who thirstbaits for content. We're looking for pre-AI, pre-content creator vid
>>6256801how hard is it to catch one of these?

>>6257419
No association
>>6257406It takes a lot of practice to find them and grab them properly, and you have to get bit, but the real problem is that water moccasins tend to hang out in the same types of places. Reaching in blind to try to find and abuse a catfish could get you killed.
>>6257606Spoken like someone who's never noodled a catfish in his life. Plausible but bullshit.
>>6255148I'd rather hear a variety of different languages, than DOICH DA SHTIIIOOOM DA FUNGAHIAAMM 24/7 lol.

>>6253367I have recently come to notice that they talk like fairies. not this guy so much, but many have such a gay valley girl cadence that the whole 'tuff guy" Bruce idea is soiled forever.
