Right what it says on the tin. I'm looking for a feel good anime. Something that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside like Cardcaptor Sakura. A certain level of childhood joy and heartwarming moments. Preferably something that doesn't focus really hard on romance as I find that boring. Something with bits of slice of life but also adventure like CCS. Fun characters are a must. I've already watched Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Shugo Chara, Digimon Adventure, and a few other adjacent properties.
Kemono Friends (only one season, there is no season 2 no matter what anyone tells you)
>>1566360Is season 2 really bad or something?
>>1566358Future Boy Conan can't be beat.
>>1566361There is a giant stupid bunch of nonsense that happened after S1 that involved firing everyone who actually made the anime good and S2 feels like the people who made it actively hated S1, its director and everything it stood for. So yes tl;dr it's bad but the longer story is much more painful. Basically if you end up liking Kemono Friends just never fucking touch S2 and watch Kemurikusa which was made by S1's director instead, it's also very good.
>>1566361>>1566364If you want a season 2, just switch over to the Wild Thornberrys once you are done with season one. They are basically the same show.
>>1566362I haven't watched many old anime but sure. I'll give it a try. Is it on Crunchyroll or do I have to pirate it?
>>1566366I believe you can watch it on Philo, but no, it's not on Crunchyroll apparently. It's an incredibly lovely show!
>>1566358Seconding >>1566362Also Takarajima, Heidi and anything by Tamura Shigeru, Pui Pui Molcar, Doraemon, Ie Naki Ko. I guess The Little Prince too, but the ending is also somewhat sad in a sense. Not as sad as The Dog of Flanders.
OP, check out these threads:>>1564731>>1566242they might be relevant to your interests.
>>1566383I could try those. What are they about?
Dude, if you like Sakura, go for Kobato, it is by CLAMP and it is the most heartwarming anime I've ever watched. There is some bullshit subplot but it is completely irrelevant, enjoy the slice of life, the children, the protagonist, the warm feelings.I might watch it again with my wife once she becomes my wife, such a beautiful little show. Also seconding Puipui Molcar. And Natsume Yuujinchou is very comfy, there is always a bit of drama but it is episodic and idyllic.
>>1566358Mitsuboshi Colors is about some kids going on urban hijinks.I recall ranking of kings having that mix of drama and that invincible lustrous moral righteousnessdr. stone is pretty optimistic and humanist but it's not dazzlingly bright which I think is what you are looking for. characters are only alright.I hesitantly suggest Saiki K, but maybe the MC is too cold.I remember one specific season of precure getting acclaimed a few years back
