I want to learn how to cook, but websites are a hassle, and AI is unreliable. I want recipes that go into detail on cook times and portions. I would also prefer a broad range of recipes, but mostly on the healthier side. What would the best cookbook for that for a total beginner?
I've been watching Greg Doucette on Youtube and been wondering if his cookbook is any good. It's made for lazy fat fucking pieces of garbage too stupid to lose weight so it might be easy enough for you?
the joy of cooking by irma rombaueramerica's test kitchen/cook's country is also a good resource. try to find the older stuff when christopher kimball was running it.jacques pepin and julia child are also good.
