I'm still in brainstorming stages trying to make a compelling midpoint twist and dramatic defeat so that Act 3 starts off kinda dark.Do you write stories anon? What are your tips for situations like this? >I have not had much success with getting chatgpt to help with brainstorming, and am looking for a more human perspective.

I think a compelling twist would be if around halfway through the story the protagonist finds out the antagonist is made completely out of string
