My qualifications are that I did two seasons in Alaska on fishing boats. Three, if you count Tendering. Failing your having a land boat that I can help you catch land fish with, I am relatively physically fit. I don't really have construction experience, but I can try.

A newbie's first job on a construction site is usually being a gopher, as in 'go get me that wheelbarrow', 'go get me the asphalt saw'.
Then you upgrade to being trusted enough to shovel rocks or gravel.
