I'm searching for a fantasy novel that I read part of as a kid that I'd like to go back to and possibly read the series.Only details I can remember: -Part 2 of a series.-Plot thread one (that I remember the least details for) involves a group of evil guys, possibly necromancers or liches, disguised as noble lords plotting 'something.'-plot thread 2 involves a dwarf with a wrist bangle or gauntlet permanently stuck on his arm that burns him if he tries to defy his fate, goes to a village that has an old woman that has outlived her children and their children and their children and so on. Later a shrew of a woman he dislikes demands to travel with him to some temple or city to warn of an army of piglike monster men. The bangle forces him to take her. She thinks its going to be a week or so trip but turns out it'll take months or a year.-plot 3 involves a man (possibly from the village the dwarf was at) losing a battle to the pigmen and being made a slave but he wants to die an honorable death. He's chained by the neck in their camp. There's a half pig/half human girl used as a translator for him. His master shows him off to his chief and he runs to the end of his chain to try and pick a fight. His master is amused and drops a hunk of meat for him. Man throws the meat at the back of his masters head expecting to drive him to fight him and he just laughs and eats the meat instead. Man's confused because "I dishonored him in front of his chief?" and the orc girl explains "you can't do anything to dishonor him. you're just a slave." -pig man army is part of the evil guys from plot thread 1 plans-translatir hybrid pig/humans are made via raping female prisoners.-paperback cover was a man standing on a rocky cliff looking at a red wyvern like dragon in the distance -bought at a Walmart in the early 2000s.
