Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a history project and need to create some highly visual, polished PDFs. Right now, the only platform I really know how to use is Canva. While it’s great for basic layouts, I find it a bit limiting for what I have in mind.I want to branch out and find tools that allow for more creativity and unique visual styles. Specifically, a big part of my project involves creating detailed, creative timelines to map out historical eventsThanks in advance!

if you are making vector graphics software like inkscape and adobe illustrator are more aptVector graphics don't pixellate when you scale them up.Also I doubt it's what you are looking for, but there are some TeX packages for timelines. There is 'timeline', 'chronology', a gantt chart one etc.Maybe AI/WYSIWYG-assisted programmatic svg/html will give you both that extensibility and flexibility
