What is my best option to improve wifi range/quality across floors?

My setup is 2 floors above where the router is. I'm not able to move the router.
My setups room has no coax cable. There's a room, a floor down, that does. As I understand, something like a moca adaptor may work? (Is this what they call a mesh system?)

I'm not going to be able to run any cables across floors/rooms. I'm not going to be able to have a direct wired connected to my setup.

I've previously tried range extenders/wifi repeaters, to very little aid.

What is my best action? Thank you for any advice!

You try powerline (internet over electric lines) yet? MOCA uses coax like for your TV and both use existing wires in your house. Mesh is wireless.
To be honest try powerline and see if it works out. I've heard they're okay but there's a lot of distance between the router and you.

I use such an adapter, they're ok. But, make sure you test varieties of plugs even right beside each other, checking the line speeds for all possible combos. There can be large speed differences between outlets right beside each other for no reason that I understand. The device comes with a phone app that makes this easy to check (or at least it's easy with the wifi model)
