What it says in the title. I need an app that can block websites (mainly Twitter and all it's mirrors like nitter or xcancel) so I can stop doomscrolling. Problem is almost every app I've tried on the store requires a subscription service. Here's my criteria.1. Must either be free or have a free version that only gives me ads when I open the app.2. Must be able to block any website I put into it round the clock, not just temporary blocks.3. Must be hard to break. It can't be as simple as uninstalling the app.4. Must be tested by at least a few people so I know I'm not downloading malware.
What about parental controls?EG: https://familylink.google.com/ looks like it allows you to restrict sites and apps. Just make a 'parent' account and forget your details so you can't override it or make the password really long, write it on a post-it and put it in a safe so even if you want to creep on insta-thots you have to put in some serious effort to do so
