>>1568453Looks like a brown recluse? I'm not sure. Make sure she's treated as soon as possible, but she's not gonna die.
>>1568453Almost 100% a wolf spider.Their bite is harmless (other than some swelling and itching).Either way, definitely not a brown recluse.
>>1568453>>1568482>brown recluseOP didn't even say what continent they're on. Brown recluse live in SE U.S. The Wikipedia article describes a mnemonic to identify their bites.
>>1568453No location. No scale. Can barely see abdomen. Can't see eye configuration.>She is fine (we think)While some guy's going on about brown recluse, which looks nothing like those blurry photos, delayed symptoms after envenomation are common with those spiders. Just because she feels fine now doesn't mean there's not a problem coming. A brown recluse bite might not even become red and itchy for 8 hours and pain might not start until the next day. The same can be true for other spider bites and for snake bites. Most spider bites resolve without much issue but keep an eye on things and collect the corpse so it can be identified if complications arise. Not only will it help you mother but it will help reporting so others can be advised in future about spider bites in your area.
