Buying a new console as soon as it releases is stupid because it always costs a gorillion dollars and has fewer games than the predecessor console. Just stick with whatever previous gen console you have for a while and catch up on your backlog, then buy a Switch 2 in a few years when it's amassed a bigger library of new titles. If you're already up to date on your backlog, then get a different hobby for the next few years, because nobody should be up to date on their backlog.
