What is the best refurbished ThinkPad for someone who mostly will use it for writing programs? I have a small budget but if possible, no more than $250 for refurbished.
Something that is durable, decent battery, lasting keyboard.
I've been looking at refurbished and lots of times people recommend a T480, X1, and T14.
And what is the best place to buy a refurbished one?

What do you anons recommend?

What is the best option here?

Check out /tpg/ - ThinkPad General on /g/. Maybe a T430? If you switch out the crappy keyboard and put in the classic one, get the better screen upgrade, replace the RAM, and change the storage drive. Otherwise sure maybe a T480 works but I hate the keyboard, it's also expensive from what I've seen.
