Hi, I don't know if this is the right board for this so sorry in advance for an off topic request.I have a torrent of an anime (5 files) that is dead, no one is seeding because the fansub group moved to telegram instead. I downloaded the anime on telegram and all the files have the same name of the files listed in the torrent plus ome random charcatrs at the end like this:>Torrent:file1.mp4>Telegramfile1 [RANDOM].mp3for this reason i 99% certain that are the same file in the torrent. Is there a way to start seeding them?I tried to change the file name but it doesn't work. Can I try something else?
yes
>>1569229>the file name but it doesn't workIt needs the same extension too. Also _copy_ the suspected working files the torrents folder, so if it doesn't work the torrent doesn't overwrite your files with zeros. Once you have all the files, right click the running torrent and select "force rehash"
>>1569273>It needs the same extension tooYeah it was a typo sorry I meant mp4I copied the files inside the torrent directory and renamed them with the same file name on the torrent preview. Also I think there is some problem with the folder because it doesn't open it (All the other torrent can open the their folder)I tried deleting the torrent, readding it to qBitTorrent but still couldn't open the torrent folder. Maybe that's why it doesn't work?
>>1569275>tried deleting the torrent, readding it to qBitTorrent but still couldn't open the torrent folderIdk what the fuck you've done wrong, reboot the computer. Load the torrent up. Set your client to preallocate the space so it creates the zeroed files. Click stop on the torrent and close the client. Overwrite your good files. Relaunch the client and force rehash
>>1569281Worked thanky very much
>>1569286No, thank (You) for seeding!
