I've been suffering from depression for over 1 and a half hour over an insanely traumatic incident i had when i was younger and ended up leaving with so many questions about life and the world around me. I used to be a gaming addicted autist who only cared about achievements because he thought it would make it look cool, but now i've changed. I want to look at media that can actually shape my worldview and answer all of my life questions for self-discovery.This is gonna sound extremely crazy but i've only watched like 12 anime in my life (one of them was Neon Genesis Evangelion), i plan to watch more anime like Steins;Gate and Death Note. But i'm worried i'm gonna have to watch hundreds of filler episodes just to understand the anime's message (even though modern anime is trying it's best to avoid having many filler episodes)

There's anime movies.some anime don't have filler. it's not a universal problem.

>>1569606>Read the BibleNo i'm not christian and i'm not gonna read some shitty 1000 page long fantasy book from 2000 years ago that far-right conservative fags try to impose on their children and other people

I second the idea of watching anime movies. They're self-contained -- I'm much more of a movie person than an anime series person. You can enjoy a 75-minute movie much more easily than a 10,000 minute anime series spread across two hundred episodes. I'd suggest starting with some classics of anime cyberpunk. Akira, and Ghost in the Shell, are both good movies. Akira's probably slightly more accessible. You could watch Studio Ghibli movies too. I think they contain a lot of profundities about humanity that you might appreciate.
