all the "stretches" i've seen advised just hurt and don't actually help in any way.

No matter what position I'm in my legs naturally open like I'm trying to sit cross legged. I have no pain or discomfort from sitting cross legged for hours, but I want to be able to sit normally without my legs bowing open.

Is it fixable? Has anyone who had this managed to fix it?
