I really want to get into HSR but I'm interested in the characters and lore of them only, but I also DO NOT want to play the gacha since it is gacha.So, what stuff should I read to learn about the characters/lore/interactions from HSR without playing the gacha? Besides reading the wiki. If I have to watch a YT channel, please let me know one that plays in japanese dub with no commentary. If possible, is there more of a reading material so I could get their dialogue and how they would act? tl;dr I want to learn about HSR and their characters without playing the gacha. I plan on writing stuff for entertainment about it and I want it to be as accurate as possible. I want to consume as much possible material about understanding it.

>>1571038I agree with the other Anon who says to read the wikis but also I have the experience of actually playing the game for a year because I wanted Silver Wolf and I thought it was fine until it gets to Space China in which it became a giant slog and it made me stop playing it. Not even adding a new Silver Wolf skin made me want to get back into it. >>1571140Thanks for the advice anon! Yeah, I absolutely love the designs for this series but I'm genuinelly saddened that it is stuck in a gacha game. I recently finished the first planet and the lore is somewhat interesting and the main cast is likeable. I'm curious on what the story is, but like I've said I'm mostly interested in the characters. Their dialogue and backstory mostly, I want an in depth look on how they talk with others and their dialogue.But yeah, I'll probably just read the wiki and watch a couple of youtube vids on their character.Thank you for finding that playlist!

It's the same cycle over and over again, if you want to get a character you want, you'd have to pour in a lot of hours to get premium characters for a CHANCE to get a character you want. I'm solely interested in the characters and lore to be honest, it sucks that this isn't a single player game.>Could also try private servers if they exist for the gameI've checked and there isn't a single private server or even an idea that someone wants to have a private server. Which is surprising for how big this game is and Mihoyo in general. I'm not sure if it is a secret though.
