I thought I'd introduce a female (cis) friend to manga by giving her a josei manga for her birthday. Could you recommend me a good one that's beginner friendly and that, if possible, is only one-shot or a single tome? She's kinda short on cash so I'd rather not introduce her to a long series because those can get expensive fast. She's a relatively normie but artsy girl who likes reading literature and going to the cinema, but has no experience with manga/anime.
Only one I ever read is Girls' Last Tour so that's the only one I can recommend, for whatever it's worth I liked it it's pretty good I can see girls enjoying it too it's not overly autistic or anything
