It seems to be print only, no digital, not on nyaa, archive.org, LibGen, Anna's, etc. Is anyone willing to buy and scan this? I can fund it though I don't know how much of a pain scanning would be. Even just CamScanner pages of the actually important pages would be good. Since most of fanbook content is just filler spam.
>>1572710have a bump.why dont you just buy it yourself though?
>>1573975since OP said they were willing to fund it
>>1573975I'm not in Japan and shipping from these used bookstores or whatever seems difficult, but it seems like it'll be hard for this to get unless an anon is in Japan and goes into a used bookstore. If I manage to get it I can share some pages if there's any interest
>>1572710bump, I'm curious
>>1574092Okay thanks. If people are actually curious I guess I'll also keep an eye on it myself and keep it bumped for a week or so if I can, hoping for assists as well. (OP here)
>>1574005It seems to be on ebay:https://www.ebay.com/itm/301991559084
>>1574621Thank you! I'm exploring another option first but will definitely go to this as a Plan B soon, I really appreciate it!Will keep you guys updated.
>>1574621well it's out of stock now.
>>1575069There's other sellers selling it and for that particular book I'm the one who bought it lol. (OP)I can post some pages that aren't just infoslop when it arrives in 1-2 months
bump
>>1575437looks like suruga-ya has a copy if you were also looking for one, though I've never bought from their international site and always used a forwarder
>>1575469Surugaya store guys apparently couldn't help so i ordered on ebay it arrives in october
>>1574005>shipping from used bookstores or whatever seems difficultit's really not. even mangarepublic (sister site to goodsrepublic) has it available if you don't want to spend time going through the proxy routes. otherwise, I know you mentioned you (assuming you're op) ordered it already from ebay, but I can probably get it or any other guide books earlier through my proxies if need be, if you're still willing to fund it and the shipping costs.if you want to do it yourself, the main issue will be cleaning and properly trying to capture everything without ruining the book tbhdesu. that and apps like camscanner that want you to pay if you don't own a printer yourself to scan it with
>>1576035thanks>>1576163i had no idea that was a thing, thank you for letting me know.wdym your proxies?and i won't properly scan the book just take photos of the good pages i think. because lots of these fanbooks are just wikipedia.org (not really interesting) i just want to see sorachi's personally written statements.
>>1576163since you're here i might as well also ask, i didn't find picrel on mangarepublic (very cool site), any idea where it might be available? You seem like you might know :^)マンガの創り方: 誰も教えなかったプロのストーリーづくり
>>1576312>proxiesfromjapan, zenmarket, neokyo, etc. im unfortunately a burger so shipping won't take too-too long since the tariffs are nonexistent for books afaik. if it's just for the written statements. that should be easier then (?) but even then, it might still be a bit off if you need someone to translate it (unless you plan on doing it yourself)>>1576313it depends on the level of quality you want it in, and how much you're willing to tolerate how much it'll be despite the quality (yellowing, etc) since it seems to be rare?the links will be long if I just share them as is, so I just compiled them.https://pastebin.com/yLZL242f
>>1576347Man I could go for a burger right now.Looks like the book is 10k yen and shipping is another 5k yen to me kek. Maybe I should just wait until my next trip to Japan and go to all the used bookstores......... Thanks for the pastebin. I assume rakuten and mercari is much easier if you get the book shipped within Japan too and not international.
>>1576347>>1574092>>1572710Hey guys, this is a bit off-topic but I think this seller is underrated, you should take a look even if it's not helpful right now it might scratch an itch in the future: pastebin.com/pQZ6C3pu Do me a favor and just take one look now. Anyway, it's nice to see everyone is super helpful in this thread, /wsr/ is a nice place. Peace.
