I once saw a gif of a seemingly sci-fi anime, it appeared to take place within a space facility of some sort that had a battle going on, there were people in colorful spacesuits including a child, I distinctly remember the child having their head blown clean off by a beam weapon of some kind, which, if I recall correctly, was fired from the shoulder like a bazooka from one of the people in spacesuits, though I'm not too sure about that. The child was also wearing a spacesuit if I recall correctly. The anime also looked old, it had that 80s feel to it.
