>>1575600There is incentive to NOT open access to careless users who mention the full name of the site here and there or worse yet post the URL to strangers when others ask for it. It's how its predecessor died.The purpose has also changed long ago from being a site where casual users go to download something for reading. The careless and "Shrug Attitude" users eventually get repository sites into trouble. It now serves as an archive for people to fill requests. As such it keeps on growing and is over 24T of manga, manwha, and some artbooks. But it's not meant to be a general reading site, nor do we want it to be like how it was before when its predecessor got locked.

Otherwise, For some books where dmca is active, hosting websites are unable to keep them going unless they are based overseas. Some translations actually continue but only only private sites when the public one gets slapped down by dmca. At that point, if you have access to distro, then you might still see it. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for it to show on nyaa.

Check with the MangaUpdates site and then visit the scanlator site:https://www.mangaupdates.com/releasesThe main problem is old titles. There's not many public or quasi-public sites available for those. Thus those titles are lost to time unless someone posts requests on distro and a hoarder fills the request. But such results don't get a lot of readers since the upload is up for only a short while before the bots purge it. For older titles, quasi-public places like BakaBT have them.

Without financial reward, the aggregators either disappeared or dropped those titles as well. Despite that, some aggregator sites carried the titles just to drive more total traffic to the site. But then the USA entered 2021 and censorship enforcement began to become a real thing in the USA. Tightening up of the laws to shut sites down occurred before the govt could begin censoring certain political ideas and discussions online. Thus, from 2021 through 2024, there were a lot of aggregator sites completely shut down.
