I want to emulate ps3 games but create my own "Roms" by buying games discsI've done some research and need an Emulator plus the ps3 os, no problems there But if I'd want to make a digital copy of my games i apparently only need a bluray drive being able to read/copy ps3 games So i buy one of those and make a dd copy (i'm using Debian), then i Mount the copy into the Emulator and am ready to go? This seems to easy but is this correct or did i miss anything? This would be an all legal game copy, cause i dont "crack" encryption while also being in possesion of a legal copy, wouldnt it? (living in the EU, i know legal questions are kinda spongy to aswer)
>>1576572>if I'd want to make a digital copy of my gamesPersonally I'd suggest just downloading games. I too like to dump my own games, and did so for a bit when I got my PS3 cracked. But it turns out it was faster and easier to just download stuff
>>1576574I thought about it, but i'm searching for the most legal way possible, which would be having a physical copy (owning the game) and not breaking encryptionThis encryption shit is so fcking dumb, e.g. its illegal to decrypt DVDs too, but libdvdcss is easily accesable
