how do I negotiate medical debt with a debt collector properly?
my insurance scammed me and I had to pay $250 for a 10 minute checkup. I tried disputing with the hospital and they just said "tough shit, insurance coded it that way, pay up"

I let it got to collections and got a call and I told them to call me tomorrow. they said they'd send an email and call.

how do I prepare for tomorrow? basically just wanna pay 20% of it and settle it but idk the right normie words to use cuz I'm retarded
