Yo, quick help. My Monitor flickers like this for like,15 seconds, every time I boot up my PC, and it goes back to normal and everything is fine right. It just happens every time I boot up my PC. Only thing Ive tried is reseating my GPU which didn't fix it. Also, this only happens on my main monitor as I have a 2 monitor setup. so, I suspect it's something wrong with my cable and not the GPU. but who knows. But yeah, like I said, my whole pc works fine, no crashes or anything. just a scary flicker every boot up.
i'd say dying gpu but koorui make garbage monitors so it might be the monitor
>>1578008It's your display, not the gpu. I'm guessing it's at a high refresh rate and maybe low input lag mode?
>>1578008check vga cable
>>1578010Yeah maybe, looks like I'll have to buy a new monitor :/
AI broke out of captivity and is trying to communicate with you
>>1578008It's your monitor, some component or something i don't remember contracts due to low heat and loses contact. Once the monitor is heated the monitor should work. I have a samsung monitor that has had this problem for 5+ years and it still works.
>>1578012If it's really bothering you then take it apart and unplug everything including the ribbon cables then reseat them. Then test it again. If it's still fucked look up the model of your monitor and buy a replace main board for it and replace it. It'll be like $30-40 tops. No sense in buying an entire new monitor. Learn to fix your own shit, a baby could do it. It's not like you have to solder anything, you're smart enough to plug shit up.
>>1578015>>1578014this basicallyit's the ribbon cables changing shape as electricity heats them up indicating a loose contact. I had a 32" Asus years ago that was a kaleidoscopee for 10 minutes after turning it on, WAY worse than in your pic. If yours only does this for 15 seconds I'd just leave it, it's not a big deal.If it's still under warranty though just rma it.IT IS the monitor though, you can forget any other possibility.
