I'm debating whether or not to get a gaming laptop or a Switch 2.I know gaming laptops are a meme, and a desktop is leagues better for value for the money, but I move around a lot and still want to play vidya for PC. However, Switch 2 is technically cheaper and obviously more mobile, but I still spend a lot of time on a computer still that isn't for playing games too.Which one should I get? Never bought a gaming laptop either, so which brand should I get and what would I have to look for? I also plan to have the laptop kept plugged in too since I know how the batteries work on those.Thanks.
If you need a PC for other things than gaming and media, get a laptop. Even if the gaming is subpar you will use it for other things.If your main purpose is a mobile gaming thing, and you want PC games, forget about a laptop and get a Steam Deck.Switch 2 is underwhelming, and the game prices are stupid. Plus Nintendo gets a boner everytime they can kill an online game server.A 3rd option is getting a non-gaming laptop, and play using a cloud service, so the GPU computing power, heat, and power consumption is on a PC somewhere else.Chances are you are already paying for amazon prime, so check their amazon luna service for free and see if it convinces you.

Not to mention the console is probably the most difficult to hack, so it won't be who knows how long to mod it. Unless you are a huge Nintendo fag that cares about their big titles.Other than that, with the laptop you could get much more games for free and its versatile.I didn't buy a gaming laptop, but I think they are virtually all the same, just look for something that depends on what you do.
