hey /wsr/, bit of an odd request.i've been working on a tool to translate manga/hentai from japanese(eventually chinese and korean too) into english.llm translations can miss context, character tone, and even some of the humor in the original, so i've been working on software to prevent that and make the translations as close to the original as possible. the translated pages look fine to me when i read them, but since i don't know japanese, i have no way of comparing them to the original and knowing how accurate they actually are.would anyone here who knows japanese and a bit of english be willing to do me a favor and look over around 20-30 speech bubbles, roughly 3-4 pages, and tell me if the translations are accurate or if anything feels off?i'm not asking for a full translation or anything, just a second pair of eyes from someone who can actually read japanese. would really appreciate the help.discord: enceladus_b12
>>1579347>i've been workingClaude has been working, you mean. And why should I help you improve AI slop translation tool lol? We have enough of those.
>>1579349>Claude has been working, you mean.saw a programming project and immediately assumed ai did everything. self-awareness isn't your thing, is it? projection is crazy tho.
>>1579350>self-awareness isn't your thing, is it?honesty isn't your thing, is it? if you're building a translation app without even knowing the fucking language, you are 100% taking shortcuts
>>1579350it's clear you were a slopnigger from the op
>>1579363>>1579367seeing the word ai activated your winter soldier event so hard you forgot how to fucking read?? i don't need to know japanese to write a software that processes japanese text. that's literally the whole point of this post. and i get it, you're scared ai might take your repetitive, pathetic job, but don't take your career anxiety out on me, you dumbfuck. i'm literally acknowledging ai's shortcomings and asking for human feedback to improve the results. try reading the fucking post.also apologizes for replying this late, i thought the thread was dead and hadn't checked it.
>>1579369>you're scared ai might take your repetitive, pathetic job, but don't take your career anxiety out on me, you dumbfuckNo bot, I'm not. They've already figured out how to automate and replace my job, spent hundreds of millions doing it, spent a half decade letting bots do my job while doing cost analysis's. Because of this I got a massive fucking raise, because I do better/faster/cheaper work than botsBut if your programming isn't aided by bots/ai, you're an idiot
