I have schizophrenia and it's horrible. Can Jesus heal me or did he curse me for the rest of my life?

I have mild schizophrenia and I used to not have control over my thouths. It was pretty desperate for me. Life itself seems like a curse to me.

OP, read the pic related and give a shot to reading the research of Jerry Marzinsky or hearing his podcasts. There probably is a spiritual component to this (maybe it even is the main driving source, who knows), but DON'T neglect the material part. But yeah, at the same time, don't neglect the spiritual, keep it clean, only orderly, "right handed" practices, just frequent church and trust God, if possible.

That's the thing the schizophrenia, it makes you pick one micro thing/ connection that makes sense and them makes you do other connections with that that only makes sense with logical jumps (non sequitur).The only "evil letting" you should truly be doing that will truly help you unironically be praying to God and begging for his help and shutting them up with Psalm 23 and medication and maybe visualization and stay in church. Religious communities with compassionate members can also offer social support and improve wellbeing. In a just world we would collectively devote resources to ensure schizophrenics receive treatment and early interventions to soften the blow as development progresses. Schizophrenics are not debilitated for life, nor are they hopeless causes. Schizophrenia can vary in intensity and episodes of psychosis can be watched for and managed. I do have it on good word from a PhD in clinical psychology that regular exercise is extremely helpful in schizophrenia (particularly for cognitive symptoms) and from a neuropsych that schizophrenia itself is NOT degenerative, which is to say you are not guaranteed or even likely to get worse and can absolutely improve, especially with treatment. You do have it for life, but your life doesn't have to be short or painful. In addition to exercise, regular and consistent sleep is important. Diet can help, but there's no special diet - just eat healthy, whatever that looks like for you.
