Since 2021, I have felt this feeling of being alone or mostly alone in this world, like being in a ghosttown or empty videogame map, but on a larger scale. I felt it in a lesser fashion in the past as well.I hear people talk about not seeing neighbors when they should and encountering empty towns where they should not be at. And the funny thing is even though I still see people regularly, I still get a ghosttown vibe.Is this feeling correct, and if so, why? Is this a simulation with very few real people? Did some big disaster happen and nobody is told us about it? Did they just lie about the pop. count just to lie?Please tell me your theories and experiences with this phenomenon.Thanks in advance as always!
I don’t buy your premise and no offense but I think you’re lying. You would’ve already made a thread about this if you really felt that way for five years now. Also there are way too many dang people everywhere I go. Whether it’s the interstate or the store or wherever. Cars all over the place full of people in them and people in their homes and stores. Cities have been growing Smaller towns have been shrinking even further. But you’re not from a small town right?

I am in a medium sized town in the US state of Georgia.Anyways, yes, I still see people and actually a few years ago we got new neighbors in a weird spot. But it still feels dead. Sure I see and hear the neighbors(to my annoyance) or see tons of people at the store, but the general 'dead' vibe is still there. And I can feel the vibe in other places around the world. It us rather eerie at times and gives me bad vibes to the point I will sometimes stop my running, walk a bit, then just go back inside.
